Chair Yoga is a gentle and accessible yoga practice including the support of a chair. The yoga sessions incorporate movement exercises for mobility and loosening the joints, stretches for flexibility and easing out aches and pains, as well as some gentle strengthening exercises and postures. These chair yoga classes are open to everyone, especially those who feel less able, have experienced injury or ailment, and/or wish to ease back into a physical practice slowly and gently. |
Trained at the Devon School of Yoga (500 hours Yoga Teacher Training and Yoga Therapy Teacher Training) and affiliated with the Independent Yoga Network, Joy teaches gentle yoga in a style that is accessible for all and is also a practicing yoga therapist, offering one-to-one and group sessions.
