Pregnancy & Birth Circle | Sarah Baker & Julia Duthie

This group is held by Sarah Baker (a doula) and Julia Duthie (a midwife) and has been running since 2013.

We welcome women at any stage of pregnancy, as well as their partners if they are able to come.  Together we explore the emotional and physical aspects of birth, with different topics each meeting.  We offer a warm welcome and a space to share ideas and support, as well as information.  

Topics typically covered include:

• The Birthing Environment and Hormones
• The Birth Process
• Birth Plans
• Comfort Measures for Labour
• Hopes and Fears
• Bonding and Breastfeeding
• Postnatal Rest and Recovery.

Cost:  £10 per session

Where possible, we ask for a block of sessions to be booked in advance. We are happy to offer a concession if needed.
